The next days...

The Rubicon Contest is not only an international contest for business students from March 8th till March 10th 2010. There is a highly attractive supporting program in Iserlohn, Germany. We provided an overview here, so you can determine, what you can expect.

January 31st 2010 - Deadline for applications

Your complete application has to be with the organizational team. The form has to be completed and the mail must have reached our mailserver before midnight (11:59 pm CET).

February 3rd 2010 -  Announcement of the participants of Rubicon Contest 2010

By that day, it will be official if you can book your flights to Germany. 20 teams will be invited, further teams will be on the waiting list to replace a team which resigns from its participation in Rubicon Contest 2010. We will send out the reply by 4.00 pm (CET).  First, this news will be published on our Facebook-Fanpage.

March 7th 2010 - Arrival of the international teams

You will be picked up at the airport and brought to Iserlohn to your accommodation. There will be a supporting program, so you do not get bored. If your team chooses to arrive earlier let us know, we will be happy to assist you.

March 8th 2010 - Rubicon Contest 2010 Day 1: Introduction day & get together

On the first day of Rubicon Contest 2010 there will be no competition. It is all about getting to know each other. There will be a supporting program in the morning, while the national teams arrive. After a lunch you will be officially welcomed to Rubicon Contest 2010 and an introduction to the business simulation is given, before we all enjoy a nice get-together dinner and supporting evening program (t.b.a.).

March 9th 2010 - Rubicon Contest 2010 Day 2: Business simulation day

OPEXYou will compete in an innovative and interactive business simulation (OPEX) against the other teams. This simulation will not only be about getting the numbers right. After a whole day you definitely look forward to the famous Rubicon Party in BiTS student's club B7.

March 10th 2010 - Rubicon Contest 2010 Day 3: Case study day

The best 10 teams, determined in the business simulation, will compete against each other in a direct knock out. In the first case study and you present solution in front of a mixed jury composed of a professional, a young professional and an academic. The four remaining teams will face the challenge of the final case study. There you will show your skills in front of the whole jury, all participants and guests. The winner of the Rubicon Contest 2010 will be announced at the gala dinner in the evening.

If you do not make it to the second round, we will provide a supporting program.

March 11th 2010 - Departure of the participants
