Rubicon establishes connection to foreign countries

Amera is sponsoring participants from Honduras

(Iserlohn, Feb 9th 2009) The collegiate organised Rubicon Contest 2009, the international contest for business students, connects local companies with students from all around the world and their countries. The monetary transaction service provider Amera GmbH based in Menden (Sauerland), Germany, uses this opportunity and supports Rubicon Contest 2009. In return the company acts as a sponsor for the team “UNITEC HONDURAS” from Honduras. The company hopes to establish contact to universities and students from all around the world to cover future staff requirements.

Amera employed three interns from the private university of applied science Business and Information Technology School (BiTS) Iserlohn, Germany, whose students organise the Rubicon Contest, and gathered good experience with them. Because the company is not only doing business in Germany it has to search for qualified employees worldwide. The Rubicon Contest is a perfect opportunity for the monetary transaction service provider for this issue.

Amera's attempts to search for a qualified employee were in vain in Latin America. With the commitment towards Rubicon the company, whose customers are governments all around the world, establishes contact to foreign countries. Through the contest the company is going to contact potential employees and universities, to cover future staff requirements, as well as the possibility of a direct entry in the company for students.

Granting benefits from corporations are essential for the collegiate organisers of Rubicon Contest. The students independently take care of financing the contest and will avoid to collect a high participation fee. From March 9th till 11th the event will be hosted on “Campus Seilersee” in Iserlohn. This year's topic is “Green Business Management”. Participants are going to compete in a computer simulation, as well as case studies and business plans.
