Participants for Rubicon Contest 2009 are confirmed

(Iserlohn, 02/24/09) The participants for the Rubicon Contest 2009 are finally confirmed. The collegiate organisation team expects 80 students from 25 nations on Campus Seilersee of the state-approved, private university of applied science Business and Information Technology School (BiTS) Iserlohn. The 20 international teams will exchange ideas, generate contacts and compete in a management game and case studies about this year's topic “Green Business Management” from the 9th till the 11th of March 2009.

In less than two weeks Rubicon – the contest for business students – will start. In the organisation office the hosting students develop case studies, coordinate travel dates and solve many challenges. The team of the collegiate consultancy b.one e.V. is proud of what they have achieved so far. This year multinational teams from universities around the world participate. “We are very happy, that we are able to welcome students from so many different nations. Over all, we welcome 25 nationalities on campus”, says project coordinator Stephan Meier (23).

The great variety of nations offers the organisers various challenges. Some participants need help with their visa or have questions about the arrival. “Although we have so many international participants the language will not be an obstacle that cannot be overcome. In the three days we will talk and exchange ideas in English,” explains Tim Teetz (21), in charge of the team management.

“At the moment we are organising the supporting program. It is very important that we create a program that involves all participants,” tells Friederike Schnittker (25): “We received positive feedback in the last years. I am sure, that all participants will gain new experience and have a good time while visiting Germany.”
