Difficulties of (re-)beginning or the organisation of Rubicon 2009

All students of BiTS University have already finished their exams; colleagues make party and celebrate their last days of exams. They prepare themselves for their semester break and hope to see all their friends back in March to start their next semester. Some of them start an internship, other go a semester abroad, just like me who return a few days before Christmas.

Now it is time to plan and organise the international contest Rubicon. Have I overrated myself? Is it really possible to wow a group of students who will follow me and work about 60 and more hours a week without earning any money?! Well, I am afflicted by some doubts but look ahead!

We are attacking our concentrated organisation of Rubicon 2009 since this week. Actually, it is Monday, 9 a.m., and twelve interested and committed students of BiTS University are sitting at around table in our office.

First of all, I become desperate because important information about Rubicon 2007 is missing. Where is the file I am looking for? I really thought I filed everything of 2007 but I couldn’t find it. What a bummer! We need to reinvent the wheel of acquiring companies to support Rubicon 2009. We need to write down new ideas to persuade companies.

So, I promise this year we’re going to file everything. Therefore, we already started to summarise every step and information into an internal “mediawiki” which shall inhibit the search of information next year. Hopefully!
