The Countdown has startedMarch is getting closer. I have realized, that because our timetables are tight, there are lots of things which should have been done already, and the hours we spend in the office are getting more each day. Glancing at our webpage, I caught sight of a little countdown, showing the days until the event takes place: Nearly three weeks left till I will welcome our participants.
On Wednesday, our team met to discuss the decisions of Team-Management and to finally select Rubicon Contest 2009’s participants. Together we did succeed in our first task to promote our event, and receive high quality applications. Without the work of our marketing team, endless calls to universities, and all the remaining tasks, we wouldn’t have had so many submissions. In the last weeks, we accomplished talking about Rubicon Contest 2009 all around the world. With the responsibilities of a project manager, it is my job to connect every department of our organization team. Definitely, everyone is working hard, and is able deliver results. My co-workers in partner relations have already succeeded in collecting money. Rike Schnittker, responsible for the organization of the event, is working on the timetable and supporting programs. Especially our discussion which teams should participate in Rubicon Contest 2009 illustrates the team’s harmony and commitment. Now it is time to look ahead. Only three weeks till Rubicon Contest 2009 takes place at BiTS University, but even so I am not afraid to have a look at the small countdown displayed on our webpage! |
