Let's go Iserlohn
The first Event as a team – where we could allow our, at least athletic, emotions free bent. We visited the Ice-Hockey game of our first league club Iserlohn Roosters versus the Ice Tigers from Nuremberg. The guests were above the Roosters in the standings, this predicted that it would not be easy to defeat the Ice Tigers.
The game started with a strong appearance of our blue-white boys, but this appearance disappeared very soon, as we had to accept a goal, shot by the Tigers. However, this heated up the fans more and more and we were not willing to leave our club alone. Even as it came to the 2:0, indeed frustration came up, we gave everything to support our heroes. And suddenly the liberating hit by Quinn Hancock came, who made the knot burst. The following four minutes were the best ones of the whole evening, because there followed goals, shot by Daniel Sparre and Ryan Ready, which lead to the 3:2 lead. Now, it was over with diffidence and hits followed by our fellow student Stefan Langwieder and the team captain Michael Wolf. He shot by the way the final two goals, so that the final score was a satisfying 6:2. We, not only the Rubicon team were thrilled by the achievement, presented by our team. |
