Network “Rubicon”

In less than two months Rubicon Contest 2010 will start. I already look forward meeting a lot of new and interesting students from all over the world in the days of the event. You do not just chat with them here in Germany, add them to your friends-list on facebook and just follow sometimes what they post there – actually I kept contact with many of them. This international network of friends, which is not only an advantage while travelling, is also helping right now organizing Rubicon 2010. I do not only speak of the word of mouth on Rubicon Contest that advertises this year's challenge.

Enterprize Canada

Friends, who came to Iserlohn as participants in March 2009 to Iserlohn, run Enterprize Canada, a conference for student entrepreneurs, at their home university. I was lucky to attend a meeting while I was in Vancouver last summer. We exchanged ideas, experience and realized that we, although being students, both share the spirit of bringing creative and interesting people together to think about tomorrow. As well as running a competition or conference being students still means to act like professionals.

Unfortunately, neither I or anyone else of the Rubicon organizational team can make it to  Enterprize Canada. Sadly, we will miss this fabulous event taking place from February the 5th till the 7th 2010 – We are too busy organizing Rubicon Contest 2010. Hopefully, one of us can make it next year, the network is already established and we keep on exchanging our experience.
