Malin SchlömerBringing your sister to work

At first they did not really took me serious. Why? I have to explain that my sister, nine years old, was about to visit me in Iserlohn and I had to take care of her. I am far to busy right now with organizing the accommodation and the catering with my colleague Aline to take a few days of. So I asked everyone in the office, if it is okay to bring her with me – Surprisingly, nobody said anything against it.

On Monday I took her with me to the office and introduced my sister to all of them. It was probably the first time that a nine year old joined the collegiate Rubicon organizational team: She was not only sitting there looking at her older sister working, she got involved in my work. She actually helped me to prepare the tokens and the images for a game in the supporting program. I would like to tell you more about this game, but I cannot. It will be one of our surprises for the participants.

For three days her help was really great, but on Wednesday evening I had to bring her home. School was starting again for her. Now it is Friday and I think, I inspired Marit because today she received a visit of her younger sister in the office and also those two sisters were working together. I am wondering who brings his or her sister and brother next to the office to show him or her what he or she is working on.
