Some is informative, some is funny, and sometimes it is just full of curiosity. The RubiBlog will give an opportunity to look behind the scenes when students organise an international contest for business students.

The neighbour's visitWe are not the only collegiate initiative at the university. There is a whole variety of collegiate departments, there is for example BiTSLicht, our university magazine, or BiTS2Society, a department doing community work. The most famous is the Campus Symposium, which is organising a conference in summer. Speakers were in 2006 former US-President Bill Clinton, in 2007 UN General Secretary Kofi Annan and recently 2008 the former German chancellor Gerhard Schröder and former Polish president Nobel Prize winner Lech Walesa. 2006 and 2007 Rubicon and the Campus Symposium were taking place in the same week – we do not only share the same campus. |

Market to participants – a retrospectMonday, the 19th of January 2009. Only two weeks left until the deadline for applications. The marketing team commences with its work. This year, as in past years, we want to lure many highly motivated students to come to Iserlohn and taking part in the Rubicon Contest. |

Team Management as it should be For two weeks we have been working with full enthusiasm towards making the Rubicon Contest 2009 happen. My task: Team Management. The exchange with international students and universities is what makes this field particularly interesting to me. |
