Coming up on CNN

With the application deadline work in the communication department has changed. In January, Carolin and I were just calling German newspapers and other media from nationwide to local publications to get the news about Rubicon Contest and the organizational team across. With the confirmation of the first participants, it changed completely.

To persist on it

Since a long time I am writing an article, which is not for the Rubicon Contest brochure. Normally I am responsible for the Rubicon Contest brochure; I need to put all the files together and send them then to Ireland. Yasmin, our designer of the contest brochure is in her study abroad semester in Dublin and it is now my responsibility that she does not need to take the plane to Germany to layout the brochure. Now probably the question comes up what I am doing in detail?

Bringing your sister to work

At first they did not really took me serious. Why? I have to explain that my sister, nine years old, was about to visit me in Iserlohn and I had to take care of her. I am far to busy right now with organizing the accommodation and the catering with my colleague Aline to take a few days of. So I asked everyone in the office, if it is okay to bring her with me – Surprisingly, nobody said anything against it.
