Team Vis Vert! is ready to cross the Rubicon! The phrase "crossing the Rubicon" has survived to refer to people committing themselves to a revolutionary course of action. Like CaesarŁs men forged bravely across the river to change the face of an empire, our team believes that to overcome the environment challenges facing our planet, we must become involved by taking measures to change the way businesses operate. This yearŁs Rubicon challenge is the perfect chance to explore opportunities to create a more sustainable future!

Let us introduce the team. First, we have our team captain, Nima. Hailing from Hamburg, Germany, he brings leadership skills and an in-depth understanding of global business issues to the table. Next, we have Tessa, from Vancouver, BC, who uses her impeccable organizational skills to plan and coordinate for our team. Our all-around athlete, Dhiren, born in Oman, proves to be the ultimate team player and motivator for our group. Finally, Soheila, raised in the United States, with a background in politics and communications, is an expert in government policy who understands the impact of regulatory issues on day-to-day business operations, something that has been acknowledged by President Barack Obama.

We come together to form Vis Vert! Our dual passions for business and the environment combine to create a team unstoppably committed to innovation and the discovery of creative solutions.

Our experience in the Sauder School of Business has lead us to conclude that running an environmentally friendly business and having a financially successful business are not mutually exclusive. Overcoming the challenge of combining environmental sustainability and profitability is our goal as future business leaders. Just as Caesar made his mark on the world, our team strives to make our mark in business!
