From March the 8th till the 10th 2010 the Rubicon Contest 2010 took place on the Campus of the BiTS University Iserlohn. With "Sustainability" the collegiate organizational team chose again an innovative topic for the international contest for business students. Like in the years before, the 16 students responsible for organizing and hosting the event, wanted to foster forward thinking and exchange.
More applications than ever to take part in the challenge of the lifetime were sent to Iserlohn. It was a hard decision for the organizational team to choose the participants of this year`s Rubicon Contest. 25 teams, five more than usual, were invited to the event. Those facts proved, that Rubicon Contest is one of the most innovative, biggest but also the most international business contest for students in the world.
Not only in terms of diversity and the total number of participants Rubicon Contest 2010 was breaking its own records. Never before more students were involved in organization and hosting, with the help of numerous volunteers, the event. For the first time, all steps could be followed on the web at the Facebook Fanpage or live with a TV stream.
